Another tragic accident on local roads.
I saw the photo in the Hartlepool mail tonight, wreckage of the bike is hard for me to recognise but is definitely a larger capacity Suzuki, maybe even a GSX-R.
Dont want to prejudice anything but from the drivers side damage it might be that the people carrier pulled across the path of the motorcyclist.
I do hope there was nobody in the rear of the vehicle.
It is without doubt a difficult junction, many of this type on the A19 have now been closed altogether and maybe its time for a re-assessment at Elwick.

There were three children in the back of the car. Apparently the drivers been done for death by dangerous driving.
