strange phonecall

ok so im 100 miles away from home,.. and at home the the perosn who deals with the IT things

but spoke to my mam today and she has had a phone from a bloke who sounded like he was from india (so my mam says) saying my mams laptop was coming up with errors.

he asked her to turn her laptop on (which is was already on) to which she replied she has had no errors message and had to say she was going out to get him off them phone

bloke claimed to be from microsoft

i have told her that if he rings again to tell him to ring on a day i will be home and i will deal with

has anyone had anything like this before??

Yes on one off the other forums its a scam m8 microsoft would never ring you were would they get your number anyway its a Scam scam scam tell them to feck off the stupid idiots.

they send you to one of the connect to my pc sites, amazing fun if you have a linux machine or a mac and they shit themselves
