I'm hoping for a quiet nightshift so I can try and get over to pay my respects in the morning.

I managed to get to the service this morning after hurriedly putting my Ducati back together again (uprated battery fitted).
I did wonder about turning up to the service for a motorcyclist that I didnt even know. I had a horrible thought that the family might not want any bikes present as they would be too close to the cause of death.
I needn't of worried, lots of bikes turned up, 20-25 as an estimate and as always, bikers look after there own in these circumstances so I didnt even feel like a stranger.
Any service for one taken too early is painful but this was simply heart-wrenching.
One mourner did comment that it was nice to have a Ducati turn up as well, so I felt that fate had played another hand and it was indeed, right for me to be there.
To sign off with, here is a beautiful poem, the majority of which was read before Harry's final journey.
Godspeed.
"When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me. I want no rites in gloom-filled rooms, Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little--but not too long, And not with your head bowed low; Remember the love that we once shared Miss me--but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take, And each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart. Go to the friends we know, And busy your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me - but let me go."
