got a 50" plasma lg telly for my now vexed gaming room and its started playing up every now and then it goes to a black screen then about 10 seconds later its back to normal any ideas and were do i take it without getting ripped off

How old is it? It may require a re-gas depending on it's age.
Not really my area unfortunately.

Maybe a gas issue then. Dunno where to suggest without getting ripped though mate.

well apparently all the screens are made by lg but doesnt help solve the problem

Might sound daft but if you are using HDMI cables, try some different ones. The cheap ones can sometimes do that.

I had a similar prob a while back and it turned out to be HDMI cable, all i did was changed it from HDNI 2 to 1 and its been fine since Michael you seem to like chicken lately

had the tv of the wall and replaced all the hdmi cables seems to have solved the problem but havent had a seriouse gaming session so will update ste i call everyone chicken then i dont have to remember so many frickin names ok chicken good idea chicken

this thread is going of topic right had a play and it seems to have solved it so replace leads nothing wrong with the tv just bad connections ;D happy days
