Depends on the manufacturer, get on another pc and burn a windows iso to disk that will let it boot from disk using one of the f keys, if that doesnt work id be leaning towards a fudged motherboard

Googled the problem, could be a faulty mb, PSU or ram.
Will have a fiddle about tonight and look for any signs

You can also build your own bootable DVD without having an original disc via : www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/It worked a treat for me, minimal environment though. Good luck

Don't have a windows disk unfortunately Doesnt F2 go in to the BIOS? usually yes but in there you can set it to boot from cd before hard disk. if it doesnt work you are right its one of the 3 things you mentioned, if it does it could be fault hard disk

Nope, it sees it as there doesnt mean its working just that its responding to power, it could still be knackered

If you look closely at your vid Jake, nothing can be seen after "Checking NVRAM" - could be a pointer?

The nvram could either point to the ram or once again the motherboard being faulty, reseat the ram and see if the same issue occurs, its not conclusive but if that fixes it obviously it was the problem. If it doesnt it could still be either

Can't view vid on my iPod in Spain ha how many sticks of memory you got? If more then a single stick try just having one and swapping dimm slots with just one If you have spare hard drive try plugging that in re installing windows via disc If the spare hard drive don't work then chances are it is motherboard or CPU and in my opinion you may aswell upgrade Them both anyway instead of replacing the one
