Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has a BT iplate attached to their BT phone box and if so is there an improvement on download and up load speeds as suggested. To those who don't know the function of this plate. It is stated that the plate disengages the bell wire that used to be used to make the phone ring in the old phones, but is no longer required. Thus resulting in faster broadband speeds. Any advice would be grateful.

Like so many of these questions the answer is 'It depends' IF the bell wire is causing interference then it may help, although you'll also get the same results by simply disconnecting the bell wire. If the current setup is not causing any interference then it won't help.
