I'd be very careful what you write here Alan, in fact, if I were you, I wouldnt write anything... have you been down to trackside and spoken to Pete? Thats probably the best thing to do... I'd take a crate of beer along as well...

And it sounds like a threat to me, and im sure any1 else reading what you put would agree. Im sorry if iv upset ur mates, and i will do as you ask and not write anything again! I havnt said anything that in my opinion isnt true, but obviously i can only have an opinion if its the same as others point of view. i will NOT be posting any of my thoughts on here again. Cos i now feel that if i do there will be reprecusions

I wouldnt say what Lee said was a threat at all, but merley a suggestion in that if your dealing with Trackside, slagging them off probably isnt the best thing to be doing....

im glad someone took it the right way ! Pete at track side logs in from time to time, something worth considering. Interesting point that you took my friendly suggestion as a threat though alan.

Lee writing 'I'd be very careful what you write here Alan, in fact, if I were you, I wouldnt write anything' seemed like a THREAT to me, and yes it is an interesting point!
Oh and as you popped over to speak to them about it, tell me ? do they have the shocker? and as you said iv shot myself in the foot over it, does that mean yes they do have it but i wont be getting it back?

Yeah, and by not writing anything at all, he means dont slag them off, was quite obvious in my opinion...
And by shooting your self in the foot, again, he was refering to the fact your dealing with them yet your slagging them off, and personally, if I was suppose to be helping someone, and i saw on a forum that I sponsor, the guy was slagging me off, i for sure wouldnt help that fore-mentioned guy, and i'd probably withdraw my sponsorship.

I was trying to offer you some advice in order for you to get a result. You can forget about that now. Sort it out yourself.

Shox, i am not or ever will again deal with Trackside, and they had the chance to'help me' when Hagon phoned them! but said they didnt know owt about it! And for your information, i wasnt slagging them off..i was stating FACTS and giving my own (valid) opinion! OH and im NOT the only person on this forum that has had a bad experience with trackside! I used Trackside for years when Ted owned it, but since the new regieme took over i personally know of at least 6 other bikers that wont use thier services! Yes they are a site sponsor, and im sure if they want to they can remove their sponsorship! But if they treated people with a bit of respect and didnt try ripping people off, then no one could 'slag' them off!

Re: the saga of my rear shocker!! « Reply #1 Today at 3:24pm » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- oh dear! Ive spoken to the folks at Trackside and they are well aware of the things that you have written on here about them... looks like you might have shot yourself in the foot Alan

ive always found them to be a helpful bunch. I bought my bike ramp from them and they have tested two of my bikes this year. They were pretty sympathetic to the exhaust on the twin and gave me sound advice before i even turned up. One bike was given an advisory for a loose bolt and the test was both in depth and fair. Im quite an open minded guy and i left quite happy. No one tried to rip me off ! In response to your last question yes i have spoken about you with some of the staff. They are aware that you have bad mouthed them on here and i am aware of the reasons. I never spoke to them about you on the last visit though as i thought the whole matter had been put to bed. Seems that you really dont like them though, if they have got your shock though and they have read all of this i could quite understand it if they were less than helpfull with you in the future.

ur lucky then Lee, cos like i said, im not the only1 on here thats had a bad experience with them, and i know of others that wont use them again. im not aware of your personal relationship with them, but after i had recomended them to a friend and the whole 'you needed a new battery' thing, kicked off, i lost faith in them as a place i would deal with again. And since then iv heard of others that wernt happy with their attiude! Sorry but i cant see how you telling me to 'be carful wot i say' was an attempt to help me resolve the matter?? Cos they had already told hagon that they didnt have the shocker! so there wasnt owt to resolve was there?

ok. I get your point. But for sake of argument, if i slated you on here, then you got my shock delivered to your house by accident, would you give it back to me ?

ok. I get your point. But for sake of argument, if i slated you on here, then you got my shock delivered to your house by accident, would you give it back to me ? Lee, i didnt comment on here untill i had had ALL the FACTS off Hagon! i didnt jump to conclusions and presume they had it! And i didnt 'slag' Trackside off, other than to voice my opinion. to wich i presume im entitled to? It was Hagon that told me that they had contacted Trackside, and it was Hagon that told me Trackside had denied ever recieving it or knowing owt about it, Hagon were willing to arrange a courier to pick it up from there and deliver it to me, but then phoned me at 3pm to say they couldnt confirm where it was,and would have to send me a new1 out! in my own opinion, Hagon have treated me well from the begining, where as Trackside were obstructive and totally unhelpful (by the way, not my words) BUT you are totally right Lee, i wouldnt return sumat to a person that had slagged me off, but i dont have that problem do i cos Trackside have already told Hagon they dont have it, so they cant return sumat they dont have!! And in my other post in bike related section, all i asked was if any1 was reading this and had my shocker, would they please return it to me?

just 1 more thing Lee, the shocker was delivered and signed for last friday, almost a week befor my comments on here, so if it was delivered to 1 of our sponsors, or even to any bike garage in BonLea estate area, they had plenty of time to contact me or even post a note on here to say 'is any1 missing a shocker?', or even ask other bike shops in the area, cos it was afterall addressed to Trackside!..so its not like i had a rant n slagged any1 off on the spur of the moment is it??

I think you need to have a look at what you have written Alan, because from where I’m sat, it looks like you have done precisely that. Trackside are at it again!!! signed for my shocker sent to them by mistake by Hagon, but are saying they havnt got it and never have and have NO record of it turning up!! This looks like you are insinuating that they DO have it but they are denying it. Oh and as you popped over to speak to them about it, tell me ? do they have the shocker? My visit had nothing to do with your shocker. Trackside give out TB stickers with MOT certs to promote the site.. again..quite a hostile post i thought I'd be very careful what you write here Alan, in fact, if I were you, I wouldnt write anything... have you been down to trackside and spoken to Pete? Thats probably the best thing to do... I'd take a crate of beer along as well... Err NO i wouldnt take a crate of beer for them. And it sounds like a threat to me, Don’t take this the wrong way Alan, I’ve got no gripes with you, but some of the things you have written, appear to be quite hostile. I have no reason to make any form of threats to you and I’m surprised that you think I do. Now, at the same time, I’m not going to sit here and blow hot air up the arse’s of track side motorcycles just because they are a site sponsor, but I AM going to put my neck on the line here and say that I think you have gone about this whole episode in completely the wrong manner !

Excuse me for butting in here folks and i might of got this wrong but Alan if you sent the shocker off to hagon how did it end up at Trackside , which i take is a fair way from your home address surely the problem here is with Hagon do they just randomly deliver parts sent from peoples home addresses to the nearest bike shop and if they do how would Trackside know it was for you or had you sent it through Trackside in the 1st place , it seems that Hagon are at fault from the posts ive read on here for sending it to Trackside and they are the people with whom i would be getting torn into

Dalton, the reason it ended up there is cos when Ted run Trackside he fitted it originally and the box had trackside address on it, however i did put a note in with it telling them to send it to me, and also sent them an email!, Hagon apologised as soon as they realised,, well as soon as i contacted them n said i aint got the shocker! When they couldnt trace it the phoned me and told me they were sending me a 'new' unit out on 24hr delivery! True to their word the shocker turned up at lunchtime, bike back on the road, and a note in the box telling me that my 2yr garentee has been re started from today! cant say fairer than that? My gripe was that even tho it was sent to the wrong place, aparently it wasnt recieved by the person on the address!! Even tho it was signed for!
