iPad movie converter

Can anyone recommend a good file converter to change DVD films into iPad compatable format?

or try air video server,.. converts them for ya and can also use interenet to pull videos from you PC thus saving you memory onyour ipad.

I use handbrake handbrake.fr/details.php for all my apple converting needs it is a really fast user friendly program. You simply point it at the files you want converting, choose from one of the pre-made profiles (iPod, iPad etc) and click start.

I'm trying one on a trial basis, It is called ArcSoft MediaConverter. Works ok up to now.
