Hi guys, Short story - I need help to install some programs to help my studying -Solid Works (2011 or 2012 nededs to be x64) and possibly Photoshop CS5. Need to install it on my PC and laptop. I did downloaded both program from official sites but my firewall kept blocking it  so had to delete it. If there is anyone who knows how to do it and wants my visit  Thanks Mario |

Temporarily disable ur firewall whilst installing them

I don it (disable it) but once on again --well again same problem

does the firewall block the download or the installation?

You cant have turned it off if its still blocking downloading it mate, if its blocking the instalation its not the firewall but AVG itself , turning off system scanner should sort it

So far managed to install 2010
p.s. sometimes it was blocked during downloading, sometimes while installation so thats weird,

The adobe ones have a weird way of connecting to their servers with tends to play havock with firewalls may be why

i know what your talking about because it did it on my old laptop. if i remember rightly. when it blocks it you can press help. there will be a place that it tells you to go to let you install and go on all applications (it didnt work all the time for me, but most of the time). sorry i cant provide any more help but i cant really remember  |

Install in safe mode. Or msconfig turn off avg
