everytime i click on a thread i get an advertisement pop up its only doing it on here and iv run my antivirus and malware thing and they found nothing

its my laptop just been on old skool suzuki and it did it there to yhing is malware bytes and microsoft security esentials antivirus is finding nothing

If you're using Firefox or Chrome then install the AdBlock Plus add-on. That should probably take care of any popup ads. It'll also mean that you'll never have to sit through another pre-video ad on youtube again.
You also might want to try clearing your internet history, cache and cookies. Chances are if you've got a little non-malicious advert popper thing, that'll be where it's hiding.

cheers wouldnt have a clue how to clear any of them iv set my pop up blocker to max thats stopped it and deleted a gazillion photo,s from my documents thats freed up quite a bit of hard drive space.oh and iv bought a hp 520 all in one pc media centre thing thats got a 1tb hard drive that,l take ages to clog up with shite ;D

Proboards have stated they (to date) have never allowed pop-up ads on any of the sites. More likely you have had multiple tabs open and the pop-ups have come via another site. Sounds like you have the cure now by using a pop-up blocker. Firefox 11.0 is a good option
