brakes need to work so when it comes to stripping calipers you have to treat the bits with respect...
Rough handling can damage caliper pistons.. so, when forcing them open, is there a proper tool for the job, or does everyone use the wooden spoon out of the kitchen drawer? I only ask cos everyone I know uses this method! pmsl :-)

I have a windback tool for the rear calipers on the car and on the bike if i cant push them in by hand i would use an old G clamp.
