OPIE Oils - Price Beater Promise

OPIE Oils are Site Sponsors, however, whilst looking around for prices on oil, I came across moto-oil.co.uk/.

OPIE Oils have confirmed they offer a "Price Beater Promise".

If you see a price which is cheaper than OPIE, it may be worth giving them a call, I did and can potentialy make a significant saving.

But can I mix them if I want fully synthetic 10W 60 or will they cater for my viscosity with an API ECG EIEIO.......or will an engine flush sort it all out and I can stick mineral oil if its friction coefficient matches that of the two substitutes recommended by Wheelnut?

The pre-liquid cooled GS and current RT both use the same oil.

Synthetic oils are not compatible with other oils

"All engine oils intended for normal road use in recent 4-stroke engines are compatible with one another, regardless of the base make-up. (mineral, PAO/ester/hydrocracked synthetic, and semisynthetic.)
There is no need to flush or strip down an engine when changing from one type to another.
(…but be careful with the exceptions of castor oil based racing oils and plant based engine oils.)"
