I seen that WD40 does a specialist range of products a while back, but only only just seen they do a motorcycle specific range of stuff, too.
I've not tried any of them, but judging by how WD40 is a mainstay in every toolbox I've ever came across, I think it's fair to say these might be worth a look?
Question is are they worth the extra few quid over regular WD40.
The regular specialist range is as follows:
And the motorcycle specific stuff:
Having been utterly skint the past few gloriously sunny days (Still kicking myself that I missed the memorial ride, but finances in the household have dictated other priorities take precedence, bills and other shit... Who knew being an adult was so expensive!) I took to cleaning my bike and looking into the various lotions and potions I could potentially use to smarten/tidy/dress it up and look after it.
Having seen, whilst giving it it's first clean in... "some" months, how good the MotoGP chain cleaner (used as a degreaser for the sprockets, too) is, some of these these seem like a decent investment. Albeit a semi-expensive one at between £6 and £10 per 400ml can. Especially taking into consideration I got two uses out of my 400ml can of MotoGP chain cleaner, it doesn't seem that it goes far.
Just thought it was worth brining attention to, for those who've not seen them
Side note: What pros and cons do you guys see for the aerosol vs non-aerosol WD40? There's a 5L jug with a spray applicator for a shade over £20, that I've got my eye on, which works out at much better value than £2 for a small can of the aerosol stuff.
Reckon it's as good at penetration? (Stop giggling at the back!)
Second side note: How fcuking irritating is it when you have to make a post over again because you pressed the "Backspace (delete)" key and your browser interprets that as you wanting to go back a page.... No, I just wanted to delete my drunken typo.
