I've previously used Alpha Suspension with fantastic results and my current ride definitely needs setting up as it's as firm as titus wallet, so I'm wondering is there anyone closer to teesside who can properly set a bike up before I travel down to leeds... ta Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

You could set the sag yourself, quite easy with a YouTube video a helping hand and a tape measure, i did mine and much better

I've got no fcuking interest in titing my suspension up via YouTube. .. plus if I mention to the Mrs I need 30 mins of her time and a tape measure she'll have me measuring for new wardrobes.... No i want someone who knows what they are fiddling with, surely there has to be someone local, surely everyone gets this done... The change is massive... Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

Alpha suspension have been contacted about renewing the site sponsorship. Unfortunately, John declined this year, stating that he thought there was no benefit in supporting us. Disappointing news

Disappointing news To be fair , as of late the craic has dried up and headed south . Maybe been swallowed up by Faceachebook ? Maybe time for a redirection and insertion of craic like a jump start However , sponsors not renewing and still advertising forthcoming profitable days are vexed and need highlighting , imho

Agreed. The very fact that John continues to visit the pitstop to launch his work, tells me that he is still actively targeting people from teessdie bikers. Yes the facebook page steals a lot of traffic however, if you cast your mind back 7 years to the start of TB's, I did try my best to keep people from creating new groups under the guise of Teesside bikers.
Creating a group was the only way to avoid other people from doing so. From time to time, I search facebook for the group name and more often than not I discover that other people have created replica groups. Thankfully though, facebook staff now recognise copyright laws and take them down once requested.
On the flip side though, the weather is picking up, there is some new blood on the site and hopefully, with plenty of links back to the forum from facebook, it will keep traffic coming.

To put it in perspective, one previous sponsor has decided to not renew and multiple sponsors have decided to buy into yet another year. It's plain to see that this forum is still a major player in cheap advertising. Its a no brainer as far as I can see, I don't understand john's decision and if I were a business I'd jump at the chance, especially with such a cheap yearly rate.
