Well here is the project update . What I have done is start at the back so most of the work has been from the back of the engine going to the rear .The carbs have been stripped and I wasn`t going to waste my time trying to clean them . So I found a set on EBay the seat has been recovered by coverall as you can see I have stripped every thing out ( battery box and air filter cover ) the covers just shattered while trying to remove both sides but I have sourced a pair . The petrol tank . Head light . head light Brackets are all primed up just waiting for the side cover and these will get to final colour. This bike has been stood for a hell of a long time ALL of the cables are rotten and will be renewed along with other parts .

Well I took the engine out and stripped it down to check it over and every thing was ok so just waiting for the new gasket and seals to come then will start to put it all back tougher. While the engine is out I will give the frame a touch up .

Might be ready for the Manx .If I new another rider we could take this and the Yamaha to the Manx

Well that's the Tank . Side Panel .The head light and Head light brackets (now fitted) All painted and it looks ok .I have the badges and petrol cap to fit.

Well 95% of the new parts have arrived so rebuild time . I will keep you all posted and will post some pictures take shape

I did in my Garage I am a time served car sprayer (5yrs wasted)

Well here she is about 80% built as you can see not a lot of work to do . Going to fit Electronic Ignition to it this should be the last of the big jobs as you can see the head light is to but I am leaving this till last just to make sure ever thing works . I will be fitting the exhaust system over the weekend with the help of our mike and will be ordering a battery so some time soon I will try and start her up my only concern is the carbs . I was going to check the wiring over using a multi meter but that's another story .
