hi
Just wondering if anyone knows anywhere in north east that can sort out problems with Datatool alarms and immobilers. Basically bike wont start, alarm goes off and i cant turn the thing off, therefore it wont start the bike up as immobiliser is still connected.
cheers

Sounds like the fob is out of sync. What datatool is it?..not the stealth is it. problem with them is they drain the bike battery, then the back up battery. When this happens it knocks it out of alignment with the fob. I had to reset it on the rs250 years ago. Its a clart on bridging the green strip inside. Then again it could simply be your fob battery low on charge. Do you still have the instructions for the alarm? But as earl says they are pretty cack, but it still doesnt help with getting the bike started.

took the bike to petite and frances after speaking with brian there. he advised that it looks like it has been spiked, basically battery has run flat and knocked it out of sink by the loo of things. I asked if it would be better to fix it or just to disconnect it. Brian advised that trying to disconnect the alarm can take hours due to the complex wiring, so the repair would be the easyer option. Also have to say that Brian seems like a top bloke, very helpful and willing to answer any questions unlike other machanics I have come across.
