can someone please tell me how i upload a pic of my desktop or photobucket to use as my avatar on the forum please. any help is gratefully received ty

you can do it from your files.. but i just did it via photobucket you just need the html code for the picture you want to put in there and either side of the link you need to put the things.. ok this is a rubbish answer but just keep trying it til you get it

right forget about that!
get the picture up on the internet that you wanna put in there.. weather its on photobucket or just online.. and copy the HTML code from the bar at the top into the avatar box.. then select how wide and tall you want it to be.. you might have to play around with this til you get it right

in your profile, go to modify profile.
copy the img code from the photo in photobucket (just click once on the url)
go back to your profile and right click and past the url into the Avatar URL box then save changes.
Your avatar should then be in your posts. If its not, just try the different URLs in photobucket till you get the right one. It always takes me a while to find the right one.
