The old joinery on the road from Hawes to Sedburgh at Garsdale on the A684. Sadly we didnt go by bike as we took our five dogs with us but, Janet & Robin (the owners) gave us the best welcome we have ever had by anyone running their own B&B. They have four Jack russells themselves and are very pet friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and the Full English breakfast (with freshly ground coffee) while looking out to a lovely Dales view was a joy each morning. Robin is a Keen biker and will not only store a bike safely in his lock-up but where possible will provide a lift to the nearby (and very good) pub for sampling the local ales and food - amazing collection of Whisky too! Their website is here: www.theoldjoinery.com/index.htmland since the map is a little vague I've had a potter on Google Maps: maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?hl=en&geocode=&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=201771206040259055031.00049f1209d8f09916f99&ll=54.541003,-1.829224&spn=0.597508,1.234589&z=10 Oh yes, we had a look around the White Scar Cave as well and what a CRACKIN road the B6255 is from Hawes (next turn AFTER the creamery) down to Ingelton... The caves has a nice Cafe overlooking the valley and big car park so would make an interesting ride out I think Frank
