Amazing...some folk have a bad image of biker's and nothing will change it, therefore, they assume the biker is always in the wrong...I despair at times !!! if these people won't change their minds, we need to find them and give them good reason for disliking us... Shouldn't that be liking us Lee

Have to put a reply in at this stage guys... In support of Wheelnut, i think what he's actually saying is that no matter how well you know a road, it's different everytime you ride it. You'll get oncoming at different places, Abb's tractor on the exit from a bend, parked vehicles at different places, pot holes developing since you last rode it, the list is endless..... . Just to reinforce this, I rode to and from work in St Helen's 6 days a week on the same road and same bends knew them like the back of my hand until some trailer landing leg added another vein on one of the faster corners and this was deep. managed to get to work with scuffed leathers and helmet, bruised pride and knackered fairing. took it easier after that

Hope the guy recovers ....well I despair at some of the negative biker comments in the article I clicked on , I rode along that road last night about 6.40 had stopped at Chop Gate car park as I had got soaked and was going to turn back but the weather changed and my mate was ahead and waiting in Helmsley, so continued on towards Helmsley , the road was slippy in places but had stopped raining and there was a lot of caravan traffic going towards Helmsley , so it was a steady ride , eventually caught up with my mate at Scaling Dam.
