It also saddens me to learn that popular rider Guy Martin was today also involved in accident. Taken from the isle of man TT website "The Senior TT is due to re-start at 3pm and be run over four laps, it has been confirmed. The race was red flagged after two laps following an incident involving the number 8 Honda machine of Guy Martin in the Ballagarey area. Martin had been leading at the end of lap two heading into the pits. An official announcement said Martin had been conscious throughout the incident and was being taken to hospital by helicopter with chest injuries. His motorcycle was reported to be on fire, and the race had to be red-flagged so a fire engine could attend. It was announced at 2pm that the fire engines had left the course and work to replace safety equipment was under way." BBC Story
