This tip was given to me by a guy who I work with I have never tried so I can’t really say if it works , So here goes if you have a stud that has snapped and you are going drill it and use an easy-out or any other means buy a can of Pipe Freeze from either B&Q or Wicks . Then drill a small hole down in to the stud enough to fit the small nozzle pipe that come with the can into the hole and squirt some of the Pipe freeze in to the stud and then using the easy-out or any other means try and remove the stud you might have to do this a second time very soon after the first attempt, What you are doing is trying to get the stud to contract with the freezing affect thus breaking it away from the casing. This method should also work while trying to remove seized bearing off a shaft by spraying the shaft near the bearing If it works I am hero , if it dosen`t blame him

Or run the engine upto temp (before starting on the stud) and the stud will fly out
