I needed a M5 x 16mm torx head screw like this for my RT Motor Works sell them for £0.91 each plus £3.30 p&p, £4.21 for one. A trip to Hawk Fasteners and I got 8 of these for £2.06 (their minimum order is £2.00) i.e. 26p each. The socket head is slightly different, but does exactly the same job.

I wanted some washers to shim something on the boys scooter, the sizing was critical, hawk fasteners had just what I needed. I also bumped into an old army friend whilst I was in there!

Called in at Hawk Fasteners yesterday for some Stainless Steel bolts, they couldn't have been anymore helpful, great service.

Called in at Teesside Industrial Fasteners today & yes, they were equally as helpful as Hawk Fasteners.

Hawk Fasteners came up trumps yesterday.
The holes in the brackets for the new silencers on Bob's bike needed some very minor adjustments. After having a chat with the machine shop manager, he understood exactly what was required. While I waited, two of the holes in each bracket were elongated/slotted by 3mm, all for the cost of a few beers for an apprentice.
The silencers now fit perfectly without fouling the rear footrest hanging brackets.
If you need any machine shop services, Hawk Fasteners are the kiddies.

Hawk Fasteners came up trumps yesterday. That explains the look on his face during his last press interview!
