Anyone attempted this or know where I could buy the material from.. I do have the money to buy one but the options aren't great for my model bike! Surely it's got to be cost effective and worth my time, plus I unusually have a bit of time on my hands this month and I'm feeling crafty!

Well worth doing as radiators are mahoosively expensive for bikes. Which begs the question as to why there not in as standard. Anyway one point to note is that your bike may run a few degrees hotter with one on, although for most bikes this isn't a problem.

Yeah good point, could be done at such little exspence by the manufacturers. I reckon I make for for the price of the mesh, £10-£15? After fully kitting my previous bike out with R&G I don't want to be doing that again! Second hand axel sliders and frame sliders are of an abundance on ebay but zero rad guards.
