Cleaning Front brake rotar/button
So after having the zx9 for over a year about 6 month back I had a problem with pulsating and wheel wobble. Some people suggested that the disc should be floating and the button needed a clean. After a bit of research and time with wheels of the bike I spent the next 3 hours quickly going over the steps below which seem to free them up and has pretty much eradicated and wobble or pulsate
Since cleaning I have only ridden 15 miles to work but will report back with more miles under my belt.
TOOLS Nut bolt and washer to fit through Rotar/Button Spanners to fit bolt Brake Cleaner & Hot Water & Degreaser(bike wash)
1. Spray/ Soak with hot water (this will allow salt to dissolve) 2. Insert nut and bolt through rotar/button and tighten 3. Spray selected rotar/button with Degreaser and using a spanner turn nut and bolt (this should be stiff to start but will loosen up slowly. 4. Spray with Brake cleaner to clear debris and degreaser(bikewash) 5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 until you happy with results and repeat on all rotars/buttons 6. Grab hose pipe and rinse all debris from disc and wheel
