Hi - back into biking last year after 12 years away and got myself a Triumph Street Triple but I hadn't realised that at 65 years old doing more than 80 miles on this bike would require a chiropractor to peel me off. So although I loved the striple I have had to get something more suitable to old bones, joints and muscles and I now have a BMW F800GT which is also a great bike.
I haven't been to the Pit Stop yet but will get there soon!

Hi mate, Welcome in What do you think about the GT as I was thinking to change mine for it?

Hi - I really like the GT it's the best sports tourer I've had. It's light and manoeuvrable with a low centre of gravity, certainly quick enough for me (not quite as quick as the striple). Mine has the Dynamic and Comfort package so has electronic adjustable rear suspension damping (manual preload) which I like very much plus heated grips, computer, centre stand, traction control etc. I have only had it for two months and only had time to use it for afternoon runs out but I intend to tour on it next year. I got a test ride from BMW and then bought a 2016 model with few miles.
Hope this helps but if you have any questions let me know
