does anyone else get weird flashing pop ups when they first sign into the site.... I keep getting them flash up saying click here to win I phones and such like....I am sure they are infecting my computer...because they used to pop up from using photobucket as well...and everytime I tried to access the pics my comp would shut out of the internet...

I had something like this before so ...scan your PC for viruses
p.s. It could be some adverts ... or could not :/

check for viruses the first thing.

also if you don't have it download something like ad-aware,.. this will scan PC for any adware on your PC which sometime causes pop ups.

What browser are you using? Explorer? Firefox?? etc. check popup blocking settings e.g. in Firefox "Tool" > "Options" > "Content"

Do you mean this? It's not a pop up you need some add blocking s/w if you really find it annoying but it's how they make their money
