POLICE are investigating after a motorcyclist was killed following a rush-hour collision.
The 39-year-old's black Kawasaki motorcycle was in collision with a black Land Rover Freelander on the A684 at Winton Banks, near Northallerton, North Yorkshire, at about 6.20pm yesterday.
The crash happened close to the junction with the A19, at Ellerbeck, resulting in part of the main carriageway being closed.
The motorcyclist, who was from Redcar, East Cleveland, was taken to the Friarage Hospital, in Northallerton.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
The man has not yet been identified by police.
No one in the 4x4 was seriously injured.
Anyone know who this poor soul could be ?
