O.M.F.G These guys are good, in basic terms they teach machine control but in a fun way, they dispel any myths about riding first. This enables you to take an entirely different approach to riding, myth such as those the man down the pub tells you, you have less grip in a bend or the bike is less stable in a bend or a certain type of tyre is no good. Once they have your brain thinking differently then they let you start throwing your bike around. The mood is very relaxed it's all about telling you what you can do rather than being given a huge list of don'ts. If you can put your ego to one side and listen to what Tom is telling you, you can learn more in one day with him than you could learn in 10 years of riding. Although this is set in a track environment the message at the end is a sensible one of caution, apply the machine control to your road riding but don't treat the road like a race track, all in this experience will give you confidence not only in your own ability but also in your bike. On the day I entered there was a young lady who had only held her licence 3 months and by the end of the day she was nearly getting her knee down in the wet. I can only look at other riders in sympathy having not given I2I a go. If you want a great day that feels like a laugh with your mates and gives you skills you thought were reserved for pro racers then I seriously recommend you look these guys up

I've just had a look, I will carry on using ridewell for my "advanced road" the only reason I would look elsewhere is for the track orientated stuff.

Ant, I have done the MC1 and the first off road course with them. Both are enjoyable and you will get things out of them that will benefit your road riding skills in addition to Ridewell training.

I did Mc1 and Mc3. All done on a track set up on an airfield, they also do an off road day on KTM's and supermoto experience days also on KTM's, there is a knee down day which is done on there bandits so you don't even have to break your own bike on those, but you do use your own bike on machine control ;D
