My bike was with Mark at Extreme Performance Solutions last week getting new shorty ASV Levers and EBC Discs and Pads. He also checked my spark plugs to see if they needed changing.
Mark managed to match all the ebay prices and he charged practically nothing for labour!!
He kept hold of my bike whilst i was down south, if you havent seen his unit at Newton Ayecliffe its safe, clean and the bike was well looked after ;D
When i collected my bike on Saturday i thought it looked surprising clean considering i had been out the day i dropped it off lol... Mark had cleaned, dried and polished the ENTIRE bike, lubed the chain and warmed it ready for riding straight away...
My new levers are fantastic, look the business and because of there adjust ability i no longer get pains in my left forearm from the constant gear changes...
The upgraded breaks are phenomenal, i didnt realise bike breaks could be sooo good, very impressed !!
So i would recommend E.P.S because:
- They can match any price. - Mark and Debbie are a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable couple. - If they have to keep your bike it will be safe, secure and well looked after. - I believe they do pretty much anything you would need to do to a bike, including rolling road stuff. - And i thought they done a good job...
Oh and there a local business...
I will definitely be using EPS again, in the near future lol...

Recently got new shorty ASV levers myself... Can't praise them enough. Big difference in smoothness of riding. Worth the dosh, even tho they are not cheap.

Thanks for the kind words Ant, but it's all part of the service mate.
Gord, steer well clear of the Chinese copies, your brakes are the most important thing on the bike it's not worth scrimping. I have heard loads of bad stories about them sticking and jamming the brakes on, really really not worth it.
Cheers

Just noticed there are two versions of the Gilles.
FX racing - 296 VCR - 400
Got those prices out of FAST BIKES mag so there probably incorrect lol. Can you order me the FX Racing , and see if you can get the carbon fiber heel guard.
Cheers mate.
