Just on the thoughts about lids. After seeing the evidence of expensive and cheep lids go down the road I dont believe the more they cost the better they are!
The main thing people don't do is find the lid that fits themselves!!!!!!!!
Remember if it does not fit, it will not work as it's designed and therefore you can spend as much or as little as you want and you will be wasting your time.
I've seen the proof and believe me it's not recommended!

Just one thing on the Nitro flip lids, I had one a fair rew years back, and the "flip mechanism" was held on by screws, which over time used to come loose, i stuck some thread lock on them and all was good! Like I said this was a few years back, so they may have changed the design since then, but this was the only complaint i ever had with these helmets, I had 4 or 5 Nitro lids over the years (doing 60k a year through all sorts of weather used to make the shells crack after a while due to expansinon/contraction... walking into a warm building after being on the bike at sub-zero temps!)
