Hi all, ineed to buy a new helmet as mine has become too big for my head, or my head has shrunk, (must be all the red wine i'm supping. I've tried most brands, some fit, most are uncomfortable. I've got my eye on a HJC R PHA 10 ATLAN or ARAI QUANTUM FLAG both size small. Any advice on these or any other would be welcome. Cheers

The advice i used was to find a helmet i liked the look of, then i checked what its sharp safety rating was(obviously i wanted a 5star helmet),then i wandered around the shop for 10mins with the lid of my choice on probably looking an idiot to make sure the fit was good with no painful points developing. Hope this helps

I don't care what mine looks like as long as it fits and is comfortable

Finally opted for the Arai Quantum Flag. Fits perfect, slightly noisey for the price, although i wear moulded earplugs. I was at the lakes last saturday and as the weather was very inclement i decided to drive to Ghostbikes in Preston to try some helmets on. What a result. Helmet priced up at £469.99 but after a bit of wheeling and dealing using Ebay as my ammunition and great communication from Ghostbikes very informative and helpful staff they offered me the helmet for an amazing price of £339.99. Needless to say i snapped there hands off. Result.

I've got an Arai and love it, it's nice and comfy although it is a bit noisy for the money but then again the Suomy before that and the AGV before that were much the same, maybe it's ma heed. I like the Quantum Flag colour scheme, v smart.
