Anyone know we're I can get my videos put onto discs I got a price the other day eighteen quid for one and then thirteen for subsequent videos...I though that was a lot... But I may be wrong

Huh how...they are old VHS videos .....they are of my children from .not sure of how long they are

you have to get a lead that runs from your video player to your computer you then get a program that will record whatever is on your computer screen and set the tape away in the video player whilst having it on record on the computer and when its finished recording it will save it on your computer (not sure what file type) you then need to download nero burning rom and turn the file into a dvd and then use nero to burn it onto the disk. the reason its expensive to do is because it takes ages you have to let the whole vhs tape run from start to finish, my dad used to do it not sure if he still has the gear but will have a word with him for u

Many home DVD recorders these days have the ability to record from multiple sources. If ultimate quality is not an issue almost all will be able to use simple A/V phono cables to get the video onto disc. Editing is a real pain and it is very time consuming but at least its direct and DIY. For this route, I'd try playing with some cheap discs first, then when sorted buy the best long life DVD's you can afford and burn your treasured memories onto those and store safely.

Did you ever get these sorted as i do them all the time for friends and only charge a few quid to cover the discs and covers
