I've order Castrol Power1 Racing 4T 10W-50 Fully Synthetic (JASO MA-2 & API SL Specification), and it is only available in 1 litre sizes. Need 4 litres for an oil change and 1 for topping up. The BMW Dealer workshop price is £16.65 per litre. Halfords sell is for £15.99 per litre. Bought it form OPIE for £11.44 per litre. OPIE do this Silkolene Oil for £14.99 per litre, the specification is lower, JASO MA & API SJ. |

I apologise my mistake this year i bought 'Motul 5100 4t 10w40' which i got 5 litres for 30 quid from tillo's i think i got a bit off just to get rid of me as im in there all the time  |

that a good deal It gets even better, been to a local BMW Dealer today, the RRP for an off the shelf 1 litre of oil is £18.01. That makes the saving £6.57 per litre. Sorry but a bit of topic, can't complain too much, got a pair of BMW Gortex boots, RRP £235, paid £125, bargin. |

The oil arrived today, a 3 day delivery, not bad for £1 P&P. Guess what, it's exactly the same as MR. BMW use, happy days. Bonus of a free, 25ml wash & wax sachet plus air freshener for the car. Thanks to Frank (iconic944ss) for getting OPIE on board as a Site Sponsor and to OPIE themselves. |
