I would just like to say a massive thank you to Steve from Crofton Court. My front Tyre became mis-shapen, so I had to get it changed as it was making the bike unrideable. Anyway I bought a new tyre at Crofton n he put new one on & sent off the other one (which had only done about 500 miles) to Maxxis. Got a phone call yesterday. Maxxis agree faulty tyre full reimbursement!! Above & beyond good customer service I think!!

Yes and it has absolutely nothing to do with the way the bike was ridden......

It turns out it wasn't John, which explains why it was fine when ridden away from Ian's but developed the fault by the time I got home. High speed shouldn't be a factor in a tyre becoming misshapen

Unless you're doing 150mph+ off a cliff, then the tyre may become misshapen

Went in today and got new Pilot Power 2ct's on the Blade. Well scrubbed in now and it's only when you put new rubber on that you realise how knackered your old ones are.
Well, Steve and Mick know what i'm like with my bike and what level OCD I've got.....
So, I leaves Crofton Court heading for Worsall / Scorton for a scrubbing in session. Pulls into garage near Fox Covert for fuel, walked out and nearly died. It was at this stage that I saw a shockingly massive blue dust cap on the front tyre valve and a huge green one on the back... I'd been well stitched....
Great craic, great service.

They knew they were going to get the call, just didn't expect it as soon as they got it....
I had a good 'back at ya' though cos I told them that with mismatched dust caps I couldn't physically ride the bike so I had to go back into the garage and buy some new dust caps so I could keep riding. They firmly believed that I'd done that due to the extent of my OCD Hahaha - isn't taking the pi$$ good sport...

Good job they didn't tell you that the front is blown up to an even number and the back to an odd number then!

Whoa there Andrew, that would have been unforgivable and I really couldn't have ridden it. Don't like odd numbers, although multiples of 5 are acceptable under certain conditions
