Well after microsft have announced there stopping any support for windows XP in april 2014
they have seemed to of tried to force people into uodating before the support ends.
If you have installed a fresh copy of windows you may get and error about updates.
What you will need to do is download and install internet explorer 8, then locate on the microsoft website the windows update agent latest version. This will alow you to update windows XP till they stop supporting it.
