Came home from work, hunky dory, lovely day, on my way back out again..... Testicles. Whaddya suggest for a puncture like that? I'm not sure a repair will be do-able, or if I would trust it. A new tyre isn't viable for another two weeks :\ Bugger!

It's in a good distance along the tread. That won't make it difficult?

Leave it in but grind it off to the top of yer tyre. Built in puncture repair It's as flat as a witches mammary glands. Won't hold air for any length of time. Anyone know of a close puncture place?

Can you not use a can of that sludge stuff. Often get it with cars nowadays rather than a spare. Alternatively you maybe able to pick some of that rubbery stringy stuff that you push through the hole, inflate and cut off excess.

If it's gone in at that angle and gone right through Rik, you have to consider how many cords within the tyres structure have been sliced, thus weakening the tyre.
I use puncture safe so that I can complete my days work, however, the only safe option for me is to replace the tyre.

Can't catch a bloody break recently It looks as though it's not in too deep, just length ways... With any luck that'll side in my favour. I'll see if I can get enough air into it to take it to a garage on Monday.

Or he could have used common sense and prepare the plug on the insertion tool "before" he pulled the screw out to keep more air in.

You could try Crofton Court Rik Went to see the guys at Crofton Court as I was passing and showed them a photo of the puncture, bad news it was unrepairable, so Steve very kindly offered me a part worn Bridgestone Battleax free of charge. They had a hell of a job getting the wheel back on because my rear brakes a gummed up pretty bad... Need to get on top of that. And charged me a very kind sum indeed, considering how long it took. Don't know what these tyres are like the Bridgestones, bt021's or something, - but it's a hell of a lot better than a repaired one, and for free it's a no brainer - anybody used them?
