So I am replacing chain on my bike in the next week,
I vaguely remember about a year ago someone suggesting to soak the chain, but cant remember what in or why the reasoning was? lue Motorcycle 20 LED Accent Light Ki
Any suggestion or asvice would be great :-)

If it's a quality chain chris, it'll come packed full of grease. Just fit it. Remember to loosen the front and rear sprocket nuts BEFORE you cut/split your old chain

Cheers Lee, it a DID X ring chain as I know the price ya pay for a cheap one you would go through 2 or 3 by the end of life of the expensive one

If decent quality it'll be good to go straight from the packaging Chris.
Have you got new front and rear sprockets as well? It's always worth considering as the sprockets are a consumable as well as the chain. If the sprockets are either pointed or hooked they'll wear your new chain at a fair rate.
I got chain and sprockets about 2 months back and didn't realise how worn the sprockets were until I compared the old with the new.

New sproket kit with it nick, learnt well from use lot, mathcing tyres and replace sprokets with chain :-)
