I bought my shed from Apex sheds they are now at Arkgrove Industrial Estate, Ross Rd, Stockton-on-Tees, Teesside TS18 2NH, they are quite expensive but extremely good quality and made to order and at a cost they even fitted mine on site. My tip is make sure you get good guttering on it, I fitted it myself ( half size of normal and brown colour, supplied by wickes) and that it is supplied with the highest quality felt, and treat it yearly, it will preserve it best.

Nikkie,
I just bought a 7x5 apex shed ( normal shed shape) tongue and groove. For my tuppence worth go give them a visit first. I went to Bon Lea , dodds fencing - very near the pitty and bluebell sheds near the bluebell pub ? Think it is lad gate lane in borough.
Dodds and bluebell have sheds on show, dodds have an example of each range and bluebell has a shitload on show...all shapes and sizes.
I think both are priced supplied, delivered and erected. I think bluebell buy them in from somewhere. I know dodds hand make. U
Mine was priced at £490 I haggled to £450, I went with dodds, as I have used them before and they are friendly bunch. The main reason was I thought the quality was a wee bit better. Although their sheds are not tanalised they are red cedar. They paint the exterior in solvent base treatment.
If they won't budge on price if you use them, just say that "jock got a bit off" as he knows me .... Gotta be worth arty if all else fails.
One thing I will say though...I wanted to make sure the bottom of my shed was well treated as it is inaccessible where it is -poor airflow. I think they only paint it once ...where as the ones on show had at least 3 coats. I know this as I went down to their yard and painted the shed myself specifically to ensure base was well done. So I painted the whole thing a few more times whilst there.
I mounted mine on top on breeze blocks as was on uneven concrete, if you do this you need to support the joists about every foot, lots of base options if you google.
They did offer to fit an extra window free... So if you want to tweak your shed negotiate. Watch out for the wee dog they have on the counter it is a vicious wee bastrad.
Not seen the one Bowman recommends but must be good if recommending them , so we'll worth a viewing. I will be getting another in the next year so I will check out Apex sheds.
If none hit the spot there is always online.... I usually google around ....."are xxxx sheds any good" "has anyone bought ashes from xxxx" as this way you get the reviews people have posted on forums and stuff. Ideally you want tanalised wood for longevity but most sheds around that are still standing 15 years later are not tanalised.
As bowman says treat it yearly.... Christ that was a bit long... Anyhoo hope this helps, cheers again for the offer of the motorbike theory test disc. She passed so sorted!
