What bulbs do you upgrade to when the time comes around? I believe mine to be H4's if that narrows the field down.
The current installed in my bike seem to have gone a yellowy colour as of late and I wouldn't mind a slightly brighter and whiter beam. Sod HID's they're too much work, too much of a grey area, and I semi-regularly take pillions; so too blinding for the poor folk in front.

Reflector headlights its a big no no but as rivercop said osram nightbreakers are good, ive just bought a pair for my car

That's a reflector type, yes? Well, it's awful shiny if not Shame, I'd have loved to have had projector lights and painted the inside black, would've looked schweeeeet, I reckon. Can't find what bulbs they are for certain, will it say when I remove the current one? I need to dig out my manual, but I've looked at the PDF ones, and can't find any info specifying what bulb it is. I thought a H4, but I'm not 100%. Those Nightbreaker jobbies, not likely to melt the cover, are they? Seen a lot of pictures of hotter - than OEM - bulbs causing havoc with the shield. $15 I'll try and remember to take some before and after pictures if people would be interested in seeing the difference between the bulbs?

That would be good rik, would save me with the HIDs I have
I sometimes install HIDS on the ninja but normally re wire so that my dipped headlights is normal and main beam is the HID. just got to remember HID takes about a minute to warm up so sometimes can be a little pain.
