Ever since i got the bike (about a year ago) the bike always felt like it wanted to tip the bars in on slow speed manoeuvres, but it felt ok at normal road speed. The bike has a reputation of wanting to drop into corners so i sort of accepted it was this, when the tyres were replaced it felt a lot better but it was still there and you just learned to ride around it. The bike also had a slight tendancy to track a bit over white lines and the edge of road works, my first thought when i got the bike was steering head bearings but all the tests did not show any wear so i just carried on. Any way just had the bike up on stands and just happened to move the bars and it felt slightly notchy, i was actually quite happy to find the wear and decided to change then as soon as possible. New bearings ordered and fitted it felt smoother, today was the first ride out since i fitted them and am please to say the bike feels normal in low speed turns and the tendency to track has also gone.
