Alpha Suspension say, "I Inspect and adjust SAG / pre load, rebound damping, compression damping for front suspension and rear suspension".
For Street Riding, Alpha suggest the Front SAG is 35 - 43mm & Rear SAG 30 - 38mm.

The ride is set for the bloke who owned it before me, and he was much much bigger than me therefore I need my suspension setting up. I would fettle this myself if it was all standard but the for springs have been changed for Ohlins so I want to take it to an expert. Are the Ohlins springs Progressive or Linear & what is the load setting.

I didn't get any details, spring weights or anything with it, he's going to send me the receipt when he finds it, all I know is they are hard

Be cautious of just tinkering Or letting someone else do so Si... When you have numerous adjustments I think it's always best to get sorted with someone who has extensive knowledge and a proven record.

The Owner's Manual gives the Standard Settings for F&R Spring Pre-Load & Damping.
Suspension set-up is a personal choice, put it back to the Standard Settings (inc. Fork Springs) & go from there.
I'm sure Honda know what they are doing with their R&D.
Are you looking for a Road Use set-up of trying to win the 2016 MotoGP.

Putting it back to stock will be a step backwards, especially given the fact that it has been changed, so the stock setting will be different anyway
The biggest complaint for this bike (other than fuel economy) is the front suspension being too soft, and the rear being too hard

It's too hard, which makes your suggestion of putting suspension settings back to standard a bit daft, because its already been stiffened right up, so stock settings (preload especially) don't apply
The other thing I don't know is if the suspension has been re valved for a wider range of rebound adjustment.
All of this means that I'm going to be better off handing over £30 to someone who knows their stuff rather than pissing about with it myself

In standard trim, it's too soft, now it's too hard, surely reducing the pre-load will soften the suspension, that's what Honda say, they may be wrong. The other thing I don't know is if the suspension has been re valved for a wider range of rebound adjustment. Is the Fork Oil the correct grade & quantity.

Well reducing the preload is obviously going to soften the suspension.

Bob's Bike doesn't have any front or rear rebound adjustment. Fitting an emulator would be required to make any adjustments to the front rebound. Hagon do these rear shocks with damping adjustment.
