Had an interesting experience today coming out of Newcastle, moved off from traffic lights when they went green got halfway across the junction when i had to emergency stop to avoid a car that came through a red light the driver just looked at me then carried on.
Ten minutes later i'm approaching lights in Gateshead which were already on green and again halfway across junction I had to do another emergency stop to avoid a white vw golf who also had went through a red light.
At this point I wondered if I should be wearing a high vis vest to aid these morons in spotting me but after a moments thought I decided no because if you could'nt see the 30ft long red bus that I was driving what good would a vest do.
