my bikes front end shakes between 50 - 70 as though it has a buckled wheel or something i thought id solve this by getting a new wheel off ebay.. so i found one at a reasonable price that claimed to be in good condition having exactly the same problem with this one which is making me think its something else.. could it be the brake discs? or maybe the bold axle thing that holds the wheel on is bent? any thoughts? hi, been thinking after reading all the answers given, could be over tight head bearings that have gone oval or collasped or internal fork slider that's slightly bent or over tight, even a broken spring in the dampening rod might cause it, or too much fork oil or not enough, i would aim at the internals of the fork, even the outside of the slider, even a small bend could give this effect as speed increases, after all you have changed replaced everything else yes. what bike is it anyway, you failed to mention this initially, regards, chris.
