need some advice ! got my motorbike a few months back (after having a scooter), and ive recently noticed the chain is rather loose, ive tried tightening it bu the side nut (side with the chain) has rusted so much i cannot budge it to get the chain tightened. can anyone recomend me somewhere to go and get it sorted ? preferably thats open today?

you could spray the nut with release fluid, wd40 or something similar, leave it overnight and try again.
or tap it very gently to lossen the rust.
or if not, heat treatment might work

ive tried leaving it overnight with wd40, that didnt seem to help and ive tapped it with a hammer a few times and that didnt busge it either, cant do the heat treatment myself havnt got access to anything like that

I have some pretty good release fluid, i live in yarm if you wanted to pick it up. unless your friendly with a garage they may do it cheap bu i cant see how they would sort it any differntly.
a propane blow torch canister would sort it like, B&Q or local DIY will do them
