It has been announced that Armstrong's Motorcycles on Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough,
is closing down, as from Friday 20/11/2009, after being in existence for over 100 years.

i heard about that, something about them refusing to upgrade the shop for Honda?
I thought it would stay open but just deal in second hand machines?
Does anyone else know anything??

In fact, ive just called them, they ARE closing on Friday!
Aparently all of the kit has been backloaded and sold on, theres nothing left in the shop worth having.
Est in 1893
it was quite probably one of the oldest bike shops in the country.

Yeah, I phoned them up the other week to see if they knew how much oil my fork legs would need, and he said they dont have the books anymore due to closing down :/
