Thanks guys, ill look up the ma5b, the cubical quads are big, but essentially there is nothing to them. I think they would stand up to massive wind too. Hmmm, the more elements the better the directional gain... It could be knocked together with one plastic boom, 8 pieces of bamboo, some copper wire and some fishing line... Oh, and some cable ties.... They are bigger than ya think ya know mate. A 4 ele quad will have a boom of about 35 feet long. The elements will be around 12 foot a side. Thats some foot print up in the air for ya neighbours to look at.

Only problem using your house wiring will probably create a lot of noise on the received signal. Look up PLT interference on youtube, lots of noise.

Any time bud, oh btw. You Nick and Clint have got me really wanting to do the TT. I have permission off her in doors as well Back to the topic though, I am now going QRT to make plans for the TT.

Well its hardly free with the cost of the equipment. Some of the gear is so expensive you could get a couple of motorbikes for the same money.

Had another go over the weekend. Saudi Arabia, Moscow, Canada, California, Uraguay, Brazil and two links into Argentina. 1 of which was in Buenos Aires. It passed two rainy days away
